Frostpunk is a cooperative survival game for 1 to 4 players in a post-apocalyptic universe.

Players take on the role of the governors of the last city on Earth.

It is your job to manage both the population and the infrastructure.

What decisions will you make to ensure the survival of the remnants of humanity?

THE STORY SO FAR

In the 19th century, an ice storm of apocalyptic proportions froze the entire planet, cutting off all communication between England and the rest of the Empire. With no options, the government ordered the complete evacuation of Great Britain. The goal was to reach the sites of the British Science Expeditions’ research outposts, equipped with heat-generating towers, and keep some form of civilization alive until the end of winter… if there is one!

In Frostpunk: The Board Game, up to 4 players take on the role of leaders of a small colony of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world affected by a severe ice age. Their task is to effectively manage its infrastructure and citizens. The core gameplay will be brutal, difficult and complex, but easy to learn. Citizens will not be just silent pieces on the board. Members of the society will make demands and react according to the mood of the moment, so that every decision and action will have consequences.

Players will decide the fate of their people. Will you treat them as an additional resource? Will you be an inspiring builder, an intrepid explorer or a brilliant scientist? Will your reign be a spur to tyranny or an era of law and equality?

Frostpunk: The Board Game was developed by a group of industry veterans who formed a brand new studio: Glass Cannon Unplugged. This studio works with top-tier authors like Adam Kwapiński, who is known for games such as Nemesis, Lords of Hellas, Heroes, Inbetween and Dark Ages.
